ASI Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1961 to serve working class members in New Orleans and surrounding areas of the city. The credit union exists as a low-income CDFI. ASI’s mission is to serve the underserved, to promote economic empowerment, and to provide financial products and services to people with little or no credit at affordable rates.

NeighborWorks® America, local
NeighborWorks organizations and
Neighborhood Housing Services of America
make up the NeighborWorks system, which
has successfully built healthy
communities since 1978. Together, with
national and local partners,
NeighborWorks creates new opportunities
for residents while improving
communities. |

The Florida Housing Coalition
is a non-profit, statewide, membership
organization whose mission is to act as
a catalyst to bring together housing
advocates and resources. The Coalition
provides information, training and
technical assistance on affordable
housing and related issues; supports
community based partnerships in
leveraging resources; and advocates for
policies, programs and use of funding
resources that maximize the availability
and improve the quality of affordable
housing. The Coalition carries out this
mission recognizing that affordable
housing is an integral part of community
revitalization and economic development. |
