Financial education is the core of our vision and mission at A Shared Initiative, Inc. We provide education to the public as well as employees of our partners in the private, government, and nonprofit spheres on personal money management and financial products and services. We work with clients of all ages and backgrounds to help ensure their long term financial security. We also partner with schools and youth-based organizations to offer financial literacy to children and young adults.

Our highly trained and certified financial educators provide customized seminars and workshops covering topics such as basic banking, credit use and abuse, budgeting, predatory lending, and the basics of borrowing. We utilize nationally recognized curricula: National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) High School Financial Planning Program curriculum, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) Money Smart curriculum as the foundation of our financial education expanding on those concepts to meet the needs of our unique market. 

ASII tailors financial education offerings to meet the needs of its partners and is always seeking new opportunities to provide this much-needed service. Partners value the instruction provided by our organization because of its beneficial content and one on one credit counseling sessions. Counseling sessions address matters including credit improvement, debt management, budgeting, and saving.
